Live Trees

Removing a live tree from your property can be a hard decision to make.  Often times, trees are planted too close to our homes and pose a risk to our families and property, even if the tree appears to be structurally sound. Our team can work with you to help you make the best decision on your tree's future.  If your tree has to be removed due to structural defects, decay, disease, or damage, our team specializes in technical removals in hard to reach areas.

Diseased/Dying/Dead Trees

If you have a dying tree on your property it is best to have the tree removed sooner than later.  Removal options become limited as a dead standing tree decays over time.  The sooner you can have a dead tree removed, the safer you and your family will be as decayed trees are high risk, especially in weather events.

In order to support and promote good tree health and structure, tree trimming is necessary.  Urban landscape trees require annual maintenance from a young age in order to grow structurally sound.  Typical species selected for landscape trees have a decurrent growth habit, developing growth defects that can be corrected with pruning at a young age.  However, in most cases the tree is too mature to make structural pruning cuts - in this case we may recommend cabling to strengthen your tree and preserve its beauty, shade, and joy it brings for years to come.

Tree maintenance and risk reduction on mature trees is also necessary. Where tree limbs grow over dwellings, yards, and/or gathering areas, these limbs need to be removed or reduced to eliminate risk to people and property.

Fruit Tree Maintenance

Do you have a few fruit trees on your property that have grown wild?  Our team can help you make the right decisions on the tree's health and develop a plan based on your requirements.  Structural trimming on mature trees is often risky and often too much can kill the tree especially if the tree suffers from major defects.

Unfortunately, sometimes even healthy trees fail and can cause a surmountable amount of damage.  We provide storm clean up services and emergency services.

No tree is free of risk.  The question is whether the measured risk is within an acceptable threshold.  Tree owners have a legal responsibility to take reasonable steps to assess, inspect, and manage the risk their trees pose.  Our team has ISA Tree Risk Qualified professionals to help you:

- Develop a scope of work

- Identify tree and site conditions

- Assess and classify the likelihood of a tree failure

- Analyze tree risk

- Develop mitigation options

- Provide a written report for future reference

Sometimes the tree may not belong to you, but it could pose a risk to your property and your family. Our reports can be given to your neighbors, insurance companies, public entities, and even lawyers.

If you have a question about a tree on your property that you think might be a risk, give us a call today to request a Tree Risk Assessment.
